On December 17, 2024, the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province released the List of the Second Batch of High-tech Enterprises in 2024. Relying on its strength in technological R&D and innovations in green production, Guangdong Green Construction Steel Structure Engineering Co., Ltd. passed the certification again. This marks the third time the company has received this honor since 2021. Earlier, in March 2023, the company was included in the list of Guangdong Provincial Specialized, Sophisticated, and Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, becoming the only steel structure enterprise in Enping City holding both of these provincial-level qualifications simultaneously.
The enterprise’s technological advantages are concentrated in core patents and process innovations. As of December 2025, it has accumulated 13 authorized patents in total. Among them, two invention patents—A Manufacturing and Processing Tool for Steel Structures Used in Building Assembly and A Straightening Device for H-shaped Thin-walled Steel Structures—have been put into industrial application, increasing component processing efficiency by 40% and reducing material loss rate from the industry average of 8% to below 3%. In addition, the enterprise participated in the compilation of the Technical Specification for Steel Structure Foam Concrete Filler Composite Panels issued by the China Bulk Cement Promotion and Development Association, transforming its practical experience into industry standards.
On the production front, the company has implemented a green manufacturing system. It reduces exhaust gas emissions by optimizing welding processes and adopts a rainwater recycling system to treat production water, saving more than 20,000 tons of water annually. With a product recyclable rate of 95%, its steel structure products have been included in the Guangdong Provincial Construction Engineering Material Price Information Database and become a preferred supplier for government procurement.
